In accordance with our policy on the purchase of mineral resources, we do not purchase any parts or products made from raw materials that come from conflict or high-risk areas or those cause human rights violations, environmental destruction, etc., in the course of their extraction, or that are used to finance armed groups. In case we discover that the minerals used are funding the armed forces, we will work quickly to resolve the problem.
We refer to the “OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas”, and require our suppliers to continue researching the country of origin and supply chain of minerals. We also require our suppliers to procure from CFS (Conflict Free Smelter).
